TEACHERS:

  1. I have an Android Phone. Will Snaphomework work on my phone?
    Snaphomework will work on Android phones. You can download the application from the Google Play store.
  2. I have an iPhone. Will Snaphomework work on my phone?
    Snaphomework will work on iPhones. You can download the application from the Apple App store. iPhone version 4 or later is fully supported.
  3. What information do I need to register or create my account?
    Your name and email id will be sufficient to register. You will be asked to create a password to ensure account safety.
  4. How will I know if my school is supported?
    Snaphomework has selectively integrated school information in the app. If you are teacher in the United States of America, you school is likely in our database for you to select. In the event, you do not see your school, or if it is a new school, you will be able to add the school into the application and continue to onboard your classroom.
  5. I don’t teach a regular class. Can I still use Snaphomework?
    Yes. As a teacher, you can add a custom grade or class to invite parents and students to subscribe.
  6. I teach a class with another teacher. Can we both use the app?
    Yes. There is no restriction on having more than one teacher for the classroom.
  7. Can I invite both students and parents to subscribe to my classroom?
    Yes. There are no restrictions in the app for you to invite students and parents.
  8. I am concerned about my privacy?
    Snaphomework cares about your privacy and that of your subscribers. Snaphomework assigns and provides you a PRIVATE PIN for every grade you teach. Only those parents and students who you provide the PIN can subscribe to your grade and subject.
  9. Will parents and students be able to reply to notifications I send?
    Snaphomework respects the value of your work-life balance. Getting multiple emails and messages from parents and students can be distracting. Snaphomework allows YOU to send notifications and updates from your classroom but does NOT ALLOW parents and students to respond or reply.
  10. Do I need to have a phone with a camera?
    Yes. Snaphomework requires a camera for you to capture the class updates to send to your subscribers.
  11. How do I add parents or students as subscribers to my class and grade?
    There are many ways to add or invite parents and students to subscribe to your class. A simple way (if your students have phones and bring to the classroom), is to ask your students to download the app and use the PIN that you provide in the classroom. The students will be instantly added to your list as subscribers. You can ask the students to provide the same PIN to the parents at home to use to subscribe to your class. Snaphomework has also created a simple, yet secure service where the teacher can send the classroom list to a secure email id. Selected staff within Snaphomework will ensure that the parents / students are added to the subscriber list and send you the PIN for later use.
  12. How do I send homework?
    Sending homework by Snaphomework is really a snap! Choose the subject you want to send homework from the dashboard. You will see three choices including HW. Choose HW. You will taken to the next screen where you can choose the due date, add a title and/or a message, choose an existing image or point-and-click using the camera (more than once as required) and press SEND! You will also be provided on-screen help to remind you of these steps!
  13. How do I send Worksheets or other similar documents to my subscribers?
    Sending a worksheet is similar to sending homework Choose the subject you want to send worksheet from the dashboard. You will see three choices including WS. Choose WS. You will taken to the next screen where you can choose the due date, add a title and/or a message, choose an existing image or point-and-click using the camera (more than once as required) and press SEND! You will also be provided on-screen help to remind you of these steps!
  14. Can I just send a message?
    Yes. Choose the subject whose subscribers you want to send the message (from the dashboard). You will see three choices including MSG. Choose MSG. You will taken to the next screen where type a message, add attachments or links if required or even capture an image from your classroom and press SEND! You will also be provided on-screen help to remind you of these steps!
  15. Can I see a list of my subscribers?
    Yes. From the menu (on the left), choose PARENTS/STUDENTS. You will be shown a list of all your parent and student subscribers. You can also choose to filter by parents and students for easy viewing and editing.
  16. Can I edit my subscriber list?
    Yes. From the menu (on the left), choose PARENTS/STUDENTS. You will be shown a list of all your parent and student subscribers. You can also choose to filter by parents and students for easy viewing and editing. Choose a parent or student. Swipe from right to left and you will be able to delete a subscriber.
  17. Can I change my password or edit my profile?
    Yes. From the menu (on the left), choose SETTINGS. You will be provided an option to change profile and password.
  18. Can I schedule when I send my update?
    As a teacher, your update is ready to be sent immediately. Parents and students have the option to receive your update instantly or at a specific time.
  19. Can I archive all the class room updates and have them available later?
    Yes. From the menu, choose settings. You will find archive options that best suit your needs. You will be limited to 2GB of storage.
  20. Can I see a status of what I have sent?
    Yes. You can see the status of all the materials and updates you send to your subscribers by grade, subject and type. If for some reason such as lack of connectivity, the update was not sent, it will be flagged in the status page. You will be able to resend the materials when feasible with little to no effort.
  21. I deleted my subject. How can i add this subject again?
    Teachers can use “Add/Edit Grade” option on the dashboard to add grade / subject again.
  22. I want to add another subject?
    Teachers can use the “Add/Edit Grade” option on the dashboard to add another subject.
  23. Can i send all school documents that require parent permission and signature through SnapHomework?
    Snaphomework has integrated a new feature call Snap Sign. This feature allows teachers to send any document to be signed by parents and keep track of parents as they sign. Teachers can also set due dates for signatures. Reminders are automatically sent to parents reminding them to sign documents before due dates.

  5. I have children in multiple classes. Can I add all my children into snap homework?
    Yes. Snap homework supports multiple students and multiple schools on the same dashboard. You will require the child’s name and the PIN number from the teacher to subscribe.
  6. Can I change my password or edit my profile?
    Yes. From the menu (on the left), choose SETTINGS. You will be provided an option to change profile and password.
  7. Can I schedule when I receive my update?

    Only teachers who registered to use SnapHomework is shown on the list. Parents and students can request teachers not using SnapHomework to consider using the product. You can also suggest the list of teachers with their email ID or phone number for SnapHomework to explore the use of the product with a teacher.
  11. How I can directly communicate to teacher through this app?
    SnapHomework is designed to help teachers easily and quickly communicate from the classroom. Parents and students cannot reply or communicate back to the teacher through the app; however, parents may use alternate methods such as meeting the teacher or emailing the teacher to communicate.
  12. How can I add multiple children?
    From the dashboard, parents can access the menu from where they can choose the option “Add New Child”. Follow instructions to add another child. Note that you will be required to have the PIN from a teacher.
  13. I deleted my subject. How can i add this subject again?
    There is a choice on the main dashboard “ADD SUBJECT”. Choose this option and follow instructions to add back your subject.
  14. I want to add another subject?
    Users can add another subject, if they have not chosen all the available subjects, by choosing “ADD SUBJECT” on the main dashboard. Follow the detailed instructions to add new subject. In the event all the subjects that can be currently be subscribed is already subscribed by the user, a message will show “You have already subscribed to all teachers”.
  15. How will I get a refund for an item I cancelled?
    If you already paid for your order, we will refund the money in the original mode of payment.
  16. I am now getting documents to be signed by teachers on Snaphomework. Will my information be kept private?
    Parents can sign the documents on the mobile and teachers automatically are updated with the signed document. Only the teachers and the school who sent the document to the parent will be able to access the signed document.

    Your name and email id or cell phone number will be sufficient to register. If cell phone number is used, you will be asked to verify the account through the use of a validation code sent to you as a text message. You will also be asked to create a password to ensure account safety.
  5. How will I know if my school is supported?
    If you have been offered the use of SnapHomework Insights, you school is likely to be an user of the SnapHomework platform. In the event, you do not see your school, you can contact SnapHomework support.
  6. I don’t teach a regular class. Can I still use Snaphomework?
    Yes. As the school principal, you have access to all the registered students and parent. You can create a custom capability to send a school circular or message to all the registered users.
  7. I am a principal but I also teach a class. Can I still use the app?
    Yes. There is no restriction on using the app as a teacher and as the principal administrator.
  8. I am concerned about my privacy?
    Snaphomework cares about your privacy and that of your subscribers. Snaphomework assigns and provides teachers a PRIVATE PIN for every grade they teach. Only those parents and students who have the PIN can subscribe. Snaphomework will also not share your email address or any other profile information with your subscribers.
  9. Will parents and students be able to reply to notifications I send?

You will also be provided on-screen help to remind you of these steps!

    Yes. Follow the same process you would use to send a circular.
  13. Can I see a list of my subscribers?
