How can I send the documents which are required to be signed by the parents through Snap homework.?


SnapHomework has integrated a new feature call SnapSign. Teachers can tap on the (+) on bottom right from the dashboard. Tap on SnapSign. Tap to Click an image or attach file from your device accordingly. You can even resize/edit the image clicked from the phone and draft a message to be sent to the parents. Tap on () on Top Right, select the GRADES, set a DUE DATE (optional) and Tap on POST. 

How do I send homework?


Sending homework by Snaphomework is really a snap!

Tap on the (+) on bottom right from the dashboard. Tap on Classroom Updates. You will be taken to the next screen. Tap to Click an image or attach file from your device accordingly. You can even resize/edit the image clicked from the phone and draft a message to be sent to parents. Select the grades and appropriate tags for easier search.

Set a Due Date (optional) and Tap on Post. 

Can I change my password or edit my profile?

Yes. From the menu (on the left), choose SETTINGS and Tap on the SETTINGS icon (on Right) next to the user name. The options of Edit Profile and Change Password would be displayed.

How Do I Add a New Class to my account?


To “Add a New Class” to teacher account tap on the MENU (on the left), tap on My Grades option, tap on +Add New Grade, Select the New Class from the list to be added and Tap on Done (on Top Right).

 

How do I improve the quality of images sent to parents from my device?

To improve the quality of images sent to parents tap the MENU (on the left), choose SETTINGS and tap on “image quality” option. You can select the image quality as per your requirement.

How can I add another account to an already existing App on my device?


You can add a new account in your App without logging out . From the menu (on the left), choose SETTINGS, Tap on Add/Switch account and Tap on (+). You will have to register first time with your details to add your new account.

How I can switch from a teacher account to a Parent account?


From the menu (on the left), choose SETTINGS, Tap on Add/Switch account and Tap on switch to parent. You will have to register first time with your details and Class Code provided by the teacher.

I have an iPhone. Will Snaphomework work on my phone?

Snaphomework will work on iPhones. You can download the application from the Apple App store. iPhone version 4 or later is fully supported.

I have an Android Phone. Will Snaphomework work on my phone?

Snaphomework will work on Android phones. You can download the application from the Google Play store.

How will I know if my school is supported? 


Snaphomework has selectively integrated school information in the app. In the event, you do not see your school, or if it is a new school, you will be able to add the school into the application and continue to onboard your classroom.

Why do I need to provide mobile number?


Users are required to validate their account to ensure security. Users can use either email or mobile number. If mobile number to register, validation code is sent to the mobile to ensure security of your account.

What information do I need to register or create my account? 


Your name, email id or mobile phone number will be sufficient to register. You will be asked to create a password to ensure account safety.

I don’t teach a regular class. Can I still use Snaphomework? 


Yes. As a teacher, you can add a custom grade or class to invite parents and students to subscribe.

I teach a class with another teacher. Can we both use the app? 


Yes. There is no restriction on having more than one teacher for the classroom.

Can I invite both students and parents to subscribe to my classroom?


Yes. There are no restrictions in the app for you to invite students and parents.

I am concerned about my privacy? 


Snaphomework cares about your privacy and that of your subscribers. Snaphomework assigns and provides you a PRIVATE CLASS CODE for every grade you teach. Only those parents and students who you provide the CLASS CODE can subscribe to your grade.

Will parents and students be able to reply to notifications I send? 

Snaphomework respects the value of your work-life balance. Getting multiple emails and messages from parents and students can be distracting. Snaphomework allows YOU to send notifications and updates from your classroom but does NOT ALLOW parents and students to respond or reply.

Do I need to have a phone with a camera? 


Yes. Snaphomework requires a camera for you to capture the class updates to send to your subscribers.

How do I add parents or students as subscribers to my class and grade? 


There are many ways to add or invite parents and students to subscribe to your class. A simple way (if your students have phones and bring to the classroom), is to ask your students to download the app and use the PIN that you provide in the classroom. The students will be instantly added to your list as subscribers. You can ask the students to provide the same PIN to the parents at home to use to subscribe to your class. Snaphomework has also created a simple, yet secure service where the teacher can send the classroom list to a secure email id. Selected staff within Snaphomework will ensure that the parents / students are added to the subscriber list and send you the PIN for later use.

How do I send homework or classroom updates? 


Sending homework or classroom updates by Snaphomework is really a snap! Choose CLASSROOM UPDATE from the dashboard and follow instructions on the screen. You can choose to tag the subject and grade. Post when you are done.

Do I need to tag subject and grade? 


Adding a tag is optional but useful. Users can search tagged updates easily.

How do I send Worksheets or other similar documents to my subscribers? 


Sending a worksheet is similar to sending homework or classroom update.

Can I just send a message? 


Yes. Tap on the (+) on bottom right from the dashboard. Tap on Classroom Updates. Tap on “Send only text message” and draft the message to be sent to the parents. Tap on () on Top Right, select the grades and use appropriate TAGS for easier search. Set a Due Date (optional) and Tap on Post.

Can I see a list of my subscribers? 


Yes. The menu bar on the top left of your screen provides the option to see all students and parents subscribed to your classroom.

Can I see a status of what I have sent?


Yes. The dashboard provides you visibility into all your posts. If for some reason such as lack of connectivity, the update was not sent, it will be flagged and user will be able to resend the post.

I want to add a subject? Can I do so?


Yes. Teacher can create a subject tag and select the tag prior to posting the update.

Can i send all school documents that require parent permission and signature through SnapHomework?


Teachers can choose Snap Sign. This feature allows teachers to send any document to be signed by parents and keep track of parents as they sign. Teachers can also set due dates for signatures. Reminders are automatically sent to parents reminding them to sign documents before due dates.

Can I edit my subscriber list? 


Yes. From the MENU (on the left), choose CLASS LIST. You will be shown a list of all your parent and student subscribers. You can also choose to filter by parents and students for easy viewing and editing. Long Press on a parent or student and you will be able to block/delete a subscriber.

Can I change my password or edit my profile?

Yes. From the menu (on the left), choose SETTINGS. You will be provided an option to change profile and password.

Can I schedule when I send my update? 

As a teacher, your update is ready to be sent immediately. Parents and students have the option to receive your update instantly or at a specific time.

Can I archive all the class room updates and have them available later? 


Yes. From the menu, choose settings. You will find archive options that best suit your needs. You will be limited to 2GB of storage.
